Why these exist

I am combining what I know about plugins and digital production with coding and rigorous personal testing, to build targeted plugins that expand my own toolkit. Downtempo808 in particular is meant to replace several expensive plugins for free. That is exactly the kind of thing that helped me out a ton when I first got started.

To be 100% upfront: I am using AI to assist me with these projects. I do every bit of testing and QA possible to avoid any kind of slop.

My mission is simple. Create plugins for myself to use, and share them for free with everyone. No shade, but I see tons of vibe-coded VSTs for sale for $50+ all the time online. I want to use the power of AI to give something to everyone for free. The future is here — that means the VST revolution is here as well.
