A 100% FREE VST for FL Studio that turns any melody into vast and novel soundscapes.

Sound is Infinite if you believe

Boundless808 is a unique multi-FX VST, built for FL studio. It provides the ability to apply multiple effects in their own chain within the plugin. Where it gets interesting is the ability to link any effect node through one another, creating infinite possibilities for complex chains, loops, and blending of musical elements in completely new ways.

Boundless808 in progress: the neural matrix with effect nodes linked together
Boundless808 in progress — effects as nodes on the matrix, colour-coded by category and routed into each other.

Ok, that’s kinda vague. How exactly does it function?

It’s multi-effect stacking plugin that can stack every effect modularly. Each unique effect type can be spawned and layered into the matrix, which visually works like a neural net. If you’ve ever used the notes app obsidian (love it, btw), this will make more sense. With each effect active being a little dot in a neural map, each effect is categorized into type, and then preset, and then the full effect is assembled from dots in the map. Each dot being a color (type), containing an effect type and a preset of that effect type. Some examples of the categories featured in Boundless808 would be Distortion, Reverb, Phaser, Granular, etc.

Create your own unique effect matrix

The idea is every effect is modular. While it ships with over 100 insane presets that I’ve personally tested out of the box, you can create your own soundscapes easily by dragging effect nodes onto the matrix, and beginning to build out your chain. You can reroute effects, and sequence and control the output of each until the sound is perfect. It’s an infinite soundscape, at your fingertips.

So why is it Free? What is the catch?

I know in 2026 it is hard to believe there is not some ulterior motive, but I f#cking hate corporate BS and marketing ploys. When I was still a kid, free software was a huge and bountifully available resource online. It was very common to randomly stumble upon unique, valuable software that someone just made and released for the love of the game. This whole project has been about finding a way that I can contribute value to the music community. I have been given so much by way of learning from tutorials, free VSTs, free drumkits, and I want to give something back to the awesome world of musicians that I share. It’s just free because I want it to be. I don’t care about selling it.

Boundless808 is scheduled to ship an open beta in February 2027 for FL Studio on Windows. Click HERE to join the waiting list, or see its page at Boundless808.
